The colourful five movement Ballykissangel Suite uses themes from the soundtrack of the series and is scored with concert orchestras in mind. The music features flute, clarinet and bassoon as principal voices and is for the most part playful and lighthearted in tone - although, like the series, at times concerned with more thought-provoking moments in life.
