Bealtaine na Maighdine (2007) composed by Shaun Davey for choir, guitar, uilleann pipes and orchestra plus optional solo male or female vocal and button accordion (duration 3 minutes). This is an orchestrated version of one of a series of songs composed for performance by the band Béal Tuinne, with lyrics in Irish from poems by Kerry poet, Caomhín Ó Cinnéide. Other songs in the series similarly arranged include ‘Carraig Aonair’ and ‘Scáil na Lasrach’.

Vocal scores may be purchased below however orchestra material is available for hire only. Bealtaine na Maighdine is available in two versions, 1) Full orchestra and 2) For a reduced orchestra of glockenspiel, Irish harp, guitar, uilleann pipes, traditional fiddle, organ and standard string section.
