L'Arlésienne Suite No. 2 - G. Bizet

This section from Bizet's incidental music to the play, 'L'Arlésienne' by Alphons Daudet gives an excellent rendition of the rural ambience of the Provence. The simple but highly characteristic melody build-up and Bizet's use of the alto saxophone as solo instrument are typical.
